As a Server, you will play a key role in creating memorable visits by providing outstanding service, sharing knowledge of our wines and menu, and ensuring every guest feels welcomed from arrival to departure. Whether serving a wine flight, recommending the perfect pairing, or assisting during special events, you'll help showcase everything that makes Crooked River Wine a unique destination.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a friendly, professional, and genuine attitude.
- Guide guests through our menu, wine list, flights, cocktails, and seasonal offerings.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation and service standards.
- Educate guests on Crooked River Wine products and confidently recommend wine pairings, specialty cocktails, beers, and menu items.
- Promote wine sales, retail products, merchandise, and special events when appropriate.
- Process cash, credit card, and gift card transactions accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary dining room, bar, patio, and service areas.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, food running, bussing tables, restocking, and supporting fellow team members.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service requirements.
- Represent Crooked River Wine with professionalism and help create an inviting atmosphere for every guest.
Qualifications
- Previous serving, bartending, winery, brewery, or restaurant experience preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Interest in learning about wine, food pairings, cocktails, and our products.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Comfortable using POS systems and handling cash and credit card transactions.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 30 pounds, and work evenings, weekends, and special events.
- Food safety and alcohol service certifications are preferred or must be obtained if required by law.
