Primarily performs general and fixed asset accounting responsibilities, reporting directly to the Accounting Manager. Position also involves financial planning, budgeting and analysis. The position is based in Dallas, Texas (Hybrid).

Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, capitalization, depreciation, amortization, consolidation and cost accrual and allocation entries

Monitor and review Authorizations for Expenditure (AFE) and Construction Work in Progress (CWIP) to ensure proper capitalization, useful lives, in-service dates, etc.

Analyze and support weekly capital spend tracking and projections

Support preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts

Support preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements

Perform budget to actual comparisons and assist with FP&A reporting for both internal and external stakeholders

Support periodic audits

Special projects assigned by Management as needed

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

1-3 years of experience in accounting. Fixed asset or general accounting experience preferred

Oil and Gas industry experience preferred

CPA a plus

Public Accounting experience a plus

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Microsoft Dynamics experience a plus
