We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our of Student Services team. Reporting to the Director of Student Services, the School Psychologist is an integral member of our student support team and plays a critical role in helping students achieve academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and developmental success.
The School Psychologist will conduct educationally relevant assessments, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, support the development of GIEPs, IEPs, and 504 plans, and help school teams identify and implement effective interventions and supports.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field required.
- Master's degree in School Psychology or a related field preferred.
- Valid Pennsylvania K-12 School Psychologist certification required.
- Strong knowledge of psychological and educational assessment practices.
- Knowledge of Pennsylvania special education requirements and processes.
- Ability to analyze and interpret academic, behavioral, and psychological data.
- Strong written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, teachers, administrators, and outside service providers.
- Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency strongly preferred.
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
- Experience with MTSS, positive behavioral interventions, and social-emotional learning.
- Experience participating in multidisciplinary evaluations and developing IEPs, GIEPs, and 504 plans.
Assessment & Special Education Support
- Conduct appropriate educationally relevant psychological and academic assessments within required timelines as part of the multidisciplinary evaluation process.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret student data to assist in determining eligibility and appropriate services under Pennsylvania Chapters 14, 15, and 16.
- Provide diagnostic information and recommendations related to the identification and classification of students with disabilities and giftedness.
- Support evaluations involving disability categories including, but not limited to; Autism, Emotional Disturbance, Intellectual Disability, Specific Learning Disability, including dyslexia, dyscalculia, and dysgraphia, Traumatic Brain Injury, Multiple Disabilities, Other Health Impairment, including ADHD, and Mentally Gifted
- Participate as an active member of multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the development and review of GIEPs, IEPs, and 504 plans.
- Conduct assessments that inform effective interventions and support improved academic outcomes through Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS).
- Assist school teams in monitoring student progress through the collection, analysis, and interpretation of academic, behavioral, and social-emotional data.
Student Behavioral & Mental Health Support
- Assess students' emotional, behavioral, and social-emotional needs and develop appropriate recommendations and supports.
- Promote positive behavioral and mental health practices at the individual, classroom, and school-wide levels.
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and student support staff regarding effective classroom and student behavior strategies.
- Provide individual and group counseling as a related service when appropriate and identified as a student need.
- Provide crisis prevention, intervention, and postvention support as needed.
- Promote social-emotional development and learning for students with and without disabilities.
- Help create and maintain a safe, positive, and supportive school climate.
Family & Community Partnerships
- Strengthen family-school partnerships by helping families understand their child's educational, developmental, behavioral, and mental health needs.
- Communicate with families in a culturally responsive and accessible manner, taking into consideration diverse cultural, linguistic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Connect families with appropriate community resources and service providers when additional support is needed.
- Coordinate referrals and serve as a liaison with mental health agencies, medical specialists, private providers, and other community resources.
Collaboration & School-Wide Support
- Promote understanding of developmental expectations for children with diverse abilities, cultures, languages, and backgrounds.
- Collaborate with teachers and school teams to develop effective academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions.
- Participate in school-wide assessment and accountability initiatives by generating and interpreting meaningful student and school outcome data.
- Conduct and support student and group progress monitoring in academic and behavioral areas.
- Coordinate special education services and assessments with outside providers, including intermediate units, consortia, neighboring school districts, and other service providers.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and comply with applicable Pennsylvania special education requirements and school policies.
- Assist the Director of Student Services with additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
