Consolidated Packaging Group is hiring! We are looking for Press Operators with a drive to learn and advance their career in flexographic printing. CPG is the growing source of quality flexible packaging.
We have an opening in our Press Department! Perfect for those with experience in wide web flexographic printing. Our goal is to train and develop hard working and high initiative individuals into press operators.

Responsibilities:
- Monitors ink levels and viscosity
- Loads and offloads rolls on press, assuring accurate material staged to the schedule
- Press parts, roller and print plate cleaning
- Understanding of process printing, matching density and dot gain
- Proficient knowledge and capability to adjust inks to correct color, using x-rite
- Assures perfect quality to produced rolls, troubleshooting root causes to quality issues including but not limited to; dr. blades, anilox’s, impression and solvent inks.
- Ability to physically lift, stand, sit, and bend for long periods of time.
- Lead team of helpers in maintaining clean and organized work area, 5S requirements, clean as you go and training.
- Responsible for completing all required quality checks related to product specifications, visual, and functional checks. Complete all press-side quality checks.
- Completes press makes readies in an efficient manner.
- Completes ready in accordance with the Job Ticket and Product Specification documents to ensure correct print cylinders, inks, substrates, tooling, and anilox rollers are used.
- Ideal candidate will have experience operating Uteco or PCMC flexo presses.
· Experience and understanding of solvent-based inks and various film substrates

Candidate will work 2nd shift, 12-hour shifts.
Hours: 2nd Shift - Sunday – Thursday 7pm – 7am
