Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. You will assist with merchandising, stocking, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store while actively engaging with customers to promote products and drive sales. MUST BE 21+
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
- Assist in merchandising efforts by arranging product displays to attract customers and enhance sales opportunities.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits, encouraging upselling where appropriate.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring that products are stocked and readily available for customers.
- Utilize effective communication skills to engage with customers in both English and other languages if bilingual.
- Adhere to phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries via phone or in-person interactions.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales.
- Familiarity with cashiering duties, cash handling procedures, and retail math is essential.
- Experience with stocking shelves and managing inventory levels is a plus.
