Join our team as a Utility Operator and be part of the exciting growth in the Village of Bellevue! With over 17,000 residents, the Village is on the brink of significant residential and economic expansion. We are looking for a motivated, ambitious, and experienced Utility Operator to join our team-driven organization.
The Utility Operator will provide general labor and skills to support the delivery of public services. This role includes but is not limited to, snow removal, utilities and street maintenance, heavy equipment operation, and maintenance of vehicles and equipment. This person would report to the Public Works Superintendents and collaborate with co-workers to achieve successful departmental outcomes.
The Village is looking for a candidate with experience in relevant work and holds a valid Wisconsin Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B or can obtain a CDL Class B within three months. Direct experience with utility operations, including water distribution and sewer collection systems, is highly preferred. While experience in a local government setting is valuable, knowledge gained in other public or private sectors can also be beneficial.
This is a full-time position with a starting hourly range of $26.41 - $28.17, based on qualifications. Compensation is enhanced by an excellent benefits package.
