Weber Motor Company is seeking a Ford Certified Automotive Service Technician to join our elite service team. This is a high-level position for an experienced professional who already holds current Ford certifications and is ready to hit the ground running.
In this role, you will diagnose and repair a diverse range of Ford passenger cars, SUVs, and legendary Ford trucks. We offer a high-volume environment with a steady flow of warranty, recall, and customer-pay work, allowing you to maximize your flat-rate hours every single week. We handle the scheduling and parts pipeline efficiently so you can focus on doing what you do best.
Certifications: Current Ford factory training credentials are required.
Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
Tools: Ownership of a comprehensive set of professional automotive tools.
Ability to commute to Cuero, TX.
Advanced Diagnostics: Utilize Ford factory diagnostic tools including IDS and FDRS to accurately troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues.
Precision Repairs: Perform high-quality repairs on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, suspensions, and steering components to Ford factory specifications.
Factory Compliance: Execute manufacturer safety recalls and warranty repairs according to strict Ford guidelines and documentation requirements.
Quality Assurance: Maintain Fixed Right First Time standards to ensure the highest levels of safety and customer satisfaction.
Clear Documentation: Provide detailed, professional write-ups on repair orders detailing diagnostic steps, root causes, and exact corrections.
Mentorship: Act as a technical resource and role model for apprentice and entry-level technicians in the shop.
2+ years of professional experience as a technician in a Ford dealership setting.
Proven track record of high productivity and low comeback rates in a flat-rate shop.
Deep understanding of Ford vehicle systems, electrical schematics, and diagnostic logic.
Strong work ethic, personal integrity, and a team-first attitude.
ASE certifications are a major plus alongside your Ford credentials.
