Water and Fire Restoration Technician
Pay: $18 /DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts
Location: Portland Metro Area, OR

GLISS is hiring for a restoration company serving the Portland metro area. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and want to build experience in the restoration and construction industry. Employees help restore homes and businesses that have been damaged by water and fire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform demolition of damaged materials
- Restore buildings affected by fire damage
- Restore buildings affected by water damage
- Move debris and construction materials
- Remove damaged drywall, flooring, and other materials
- Follow all safety guidelines and supervisor instructions
- Enter crawl spaces when needed
Qualifications:
- Prior construction, demolition, or restoration experience is helpful but not required
- Ability to follow directions and work safely
- Comfortable working in changing environments depending on the project
- Reliable and punctual
- Willing to perform physically demanding work
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for the entire shift
- Must be able to lift repetitively throughout the day (weight varies by project)
- Must be able to bend, twist, kneel, and crawl as needed
- Must be comfortable working in crawl spaces
Schedule Details:
- Day shift available
- Monday-Friday
