The Judge Group is seeking an HR Systems & Process Improvement Specialist for a hybrid opportunity located in either Downtown Chicago, IL or Northbrook, IL. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with experience supporting HR systems, reporting, process improvement, and automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, comfortable working with data and technology, and interested in driving continuous improvement across the HR function.

LOCATION: Downtown Chicago, IL or Northbrook, IL

MUST HAVE: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience
MUST HAVE: Experience supporting HR systems, HRIS/HCM platforms, applicant tracking systems, reporting tools, or workflow automation solutions
MUST HAVE: Strong Excel skills and experience working with data, reporting, documentation, and process improvement initiatives
MUST HAVE: Ability to communicate effectively with HR, IT, Finance Systems, and external stakeholders while supporting system and process enhancements
LIKE TO HAVE: Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, or similar business process automation tools
MUST BE: Able to work a hybrid schedule 3 days per week in the office in Downtown Chicago or Northbrook, IL
EXPERIENCE:
- Support HR process improvement, workflow optimization, and automation initiatives across the HR function
- Maintain and support HR systems including HRIS/HCM, applicant tracking, learning, performance management, and service delivery platforms
- Assist with system configuration, user access management, testing, data audits, troubleshooting, and validation of system changes
- Develop and support HR reports, dashboards, and recurring analytics requests
- Document processes, create SOPs and job aids, and support implementation of new workflows and system enhancements
- Assist with governance, compliance, data privacy, record retention, audit support, and change management activities
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Experience with HRIS, applicant tracking, reporting, case management, or workflow automation tools
- Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Experience supporting HR projects, system testing, data validation, reporting, or process documentation in a corporate environment
- Demonstrated interest in HR technology, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives
