Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Develop and suggest beverage recipes to keep the menu fresh and exciting
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and place orders as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including billing and receipts using POS systems
- Uphold responsible alcohol service practices by checking IDs and adhering to legal alcohol service regulations
- Assist with food service when necessary, including banquet or catering events
- Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are followed diligently
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing
- Proven cocktail crafting skills with experience in beverage recipe development
- Strong understanding of wine varieties, brewing processes, and craft beer options
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Effective time management skills to handle busy shifts smoothly
- Experience in fine dining environments or upscale hospitality settings preferred
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate billing
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Prior bartending or bar management experience is highly desirable
- Familiarity with banquet or catering service operations is a plus
