We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Technician to ensure all products received by and produced by Standard Technologies meet company standards and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and resolving quality issues, conducting audits and inspections, collecting quality data, and ensuring adherence to the Quality Management System (QMS), with a strong focus on product quality, accuracy, and timely resolution of issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Achieves quality assurance operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans, and reviews; prepares and completes action plans; implements production, quality, and customer-service standards; identifies and resolves problems; PPAP; completes audits; data collection and reporting of all data to Quality Manager.
· Ensure that the organization’s Quality Management System conforms to customer, internal, ISO 9001, and all regulatory/legal requirements.
· Meets quality assurance standards analyzes variances; initiates corrective actions.
· Prepare reports as needed submitted to and reviewed with Quality Manager.
· Assist and train operators as needed on quality issues; visual acceptability, measurement, and process procedures as required.
· Maintains and improves product quality by completing product and process audits; investigates customer complaints; collaborates with other members of management to review new product(s), designs along with engineering department.
· Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, recalls, corrective actions, and first articles.
· Maintains reports and records of inspections, monitors defects, and interacts with other departments to ensure compliance with specifications.
· Monitor new product(s) and first article inspections according to Standard Technologies’ guidelines.
· Perform regular quality checks of components using manual and electronic measuring instruments such as; micrometers, calipers etc.

Qualifications and Requirements:
· Associates Degree preferred.
· 3 years’ experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control.
· ISO 9001:2015 Knowledge.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Positive attitude.
· Problem Solving skills and the ability to Identify Problem areas.
· Attention to detail and dealing with complex situations.
· PPAP Experience.
· Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
· Self- Motivated.
· Time management and the ability to prioritize work schedule.
· Ability to read AutoCAD/Solidworks prints.
· CAD experience preferred.
