American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager for an acute care Case Management position in Apple Valley, CA, requiring a CA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of acute care case management experience.

Acute care hospital setting in an inpatient Case Management unit
-
Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00–16:30)

Patient caseload ratio of 1:25 on weekdays and 1:45 on weekends
-
Weekend coverage required to meet departmental needs (every other weekend)

Floating between all facilities within California is expected; refusal to float may result in assignment termination

Epic EMR required

No floating within the assigned facility

Active CA RN license required; pending license accepted if active by start date

Minimum 2 years of acute care Case Management and Discharge Planning experience required; behavioral health experience does not count toward this requirement

Hospital (acute care) experience is required

Epic EMR proficiency required

At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty and setting

SSN and DOB required for consideration

Seasoned travelers only — first-time travelers will not be considered

Business attire or scrubs are acceptable dress code

RTO is limited to no more than 7 days for the duration of the assignment

Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
