Job Overview
We are looking for a full time or part time scooper, anywhere from 20-35 hours per week, with potential for more during peak seasons. You will be out on your own in a marked company vehicle, running your own routes on most days but sometimes team up with another technician. You will need to be able to manage time well and work efficiently in order to get all jobs done for the day. We have the most amazing customers that we love dearly and are looking for someone that will fit into our family culture. Using your manners and being respectful is an absolute must.
Duties
- Driving to each property safely and using an app to track your schedule
- Send notifications through the app so clients are aware of our arrival and departure
- Ensuring that all waste is picked up from each lawn and that all gates are secure during and after service
- Applying our deodorizer mixture to lawns to mitigate all residual smells and odors
- Being aware of pets in the yard to ensure their safety and ours. We love to make friends along the way but we always have safety as our number one priority.
- Working outside in almost all weather conditions - hot or cold, rain or shine - the only thing that prevents us from working is severe weather (flooding, hail, tornadoes, or heavy snowfall.
Skills
- A basic understanding of smartphone apps and the ability to navigate them easily
- Driving a route from property to property in a small truck
- Willingness to work outside in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and be on your feet for long periods of time
- A clean driving record and no criminal history
- A lover of dogs
We provide all of the Poo Squad gear you need to stay warm or cool. We have very flexible schedules so you can get other things done around your Poo Squad schedule if need be. We operate Monday through Friday, sun up to sun down. This is a great opportunity for a college student or if you are looking for a job that has a lot of flexibility.
