Position Overview – Part-Time Account Manager - Piedmont Region
Moura’s Cleaning Service (MCS) is seeking a highly accountable, hands-on Part-Time Account Manager – Piedmont Region, NC to oversee daily operations, staffing, client relationships, and service quality across assigned commercial accounts.
This is a field work position to work at client sites. The Part-Time Account Manager leads from the front and is expected to be present at accounts to ensure service excellence.
When staffing shortages or service deficiencies arise, the Part-Time Account Manager must be willing and able to step in, perform cleaning duties, and complete special services to maintain standards and protect client relationships.
This position reports directly to the Area Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Account Management
- Build and maintain strong, professional client relationships
- Conduct routine and corrective site inspections
- Address service concerns promptly and implement corrective actions
- Ensure scope compliance, quality standards, and client satisfaction
- Maintain service documentation and communication records
Staffing, Hiring & Workforce Leadership
- Onboard and train new employees to MCS standards
- Develop, coach, and manage teams
- Enforce company policies, performance standards, and attendance
- Assist with ensuring proper staffing coverage across all sites and shifts
Hands-On Operational Support (Required)
- Step in to perform cleaning duties when short-staffed or when deficiencies are identified
- Personally assist with or perform special services, including:
- Carpet cleaning and extraction
- Hard floor care (scrubbing, stripping, waxing, burnishing)
- Detail and corrective cleaning
- Ensure work is completed to MCS standards regardless of staffing challenges
- Lead by example through action and accountability
Operational & Quality Management
- Oversee daily operations across multiple client locations
- Monitor quality assurance and inspection programs
- Ensure compliance with safety and company procedures
- Proactively identify and correct service gaps
Financial & Administrative Responsibilities
- Manage labor budgets and operational expenses for assigned accounts
- Monitor labor hours, productivity, and cost controls
- Submit required daily operational, inspection, and management reports
- Maintain accurate records related to staffing, payroll, and account performance
Sales Support & Account Growth
- Support onboarding and operational startup of newly awarded accounts
- Identify opportunities for service enhancements aligned with client needs
Qualifications & Experience
- 3–5+ years of experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial, or facilities services
- Proven experience managing multiple sites and cleaning teams preferred
- Hands-on experience performing cleaning and specialty floor services preferred
- Willingness and physical ability to perform cleaning duties when required
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, field-based role
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
