Duties
- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings related to personal injury cases.
- Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Maintain organized case files using MyCase and ensure all documentation is up-to-date.
- Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, experts, insurance companies, medical providers, and court staff.
- Provide support including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
- Collaborate with team members on case strategy and provide administrative support as needed.
Experience
- 10+ years previous experience as a litigation paralegal is required - personal injury law is preferred.
- Familiarity with case management software like MyCase or Clio is a plus
