SHR Talent is partnering with a client in Nashville, TN in its search for a Training Manager. The Training Manager will be responsible for leading the company’s training initiatives for technicians and operational staff. The Training Manager will focus on developing and delivering training programs that improve technical skills, operational consistency, customer service, and safety practices across multiple branch locations.
The Training Manager will collaborate with operations leaders to identify training needs, create structured development programs, and ensure employees are equipped with the knowledge and tools needed to perform at a high level.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage training programs for field technicians and operational staff
- Oversee onboarding and technical training for new technicians
- Partner with operations leadership to identify skill gaps and training needs
- Design and implement structured training curriculum for technical and operational roles
- Deliver classroom and hands-on training sessions where applicable
- Develop training materials, documentation, and learning resources
- Ensure technicians are trained on company processes, service standards, and safety protocols
- Track training progress and maintain training records for employees
- Support career development and progression programs for technicians
- Work with leadership to implement continuous improvement initiatives related to training and development
- Travel to branch locations as needed to support training initiatives
Qualifications:
- Experience leading training programs within skilled trades or field service environments
- Industry-adjacent experience such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction, manufacturing, or other technical service industries
- Strong ability to train and develop technicians and operational employees
- Experience developing training curriculum and instructional materials
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to partner effectively with operational leadership
- Experience managing multiple training initiatives across locations, preferred
