This unique role involves both the logistical management of the schedule of the boy, such as:
- Inputting school activities, schoolwork deadlines, doctors appointments and other relevant information into the outlook calendar
- Driving the boy to and from school and related activities
- Organising grocery and other shopping, running daily errands for the parent to ensure the smooth running of the household
As well as managing and assisting the boy in his educational life, including:
- ensuring all school homework is complete
- working with the boy on timelines for longer term projects
- Support and revision for exams and assignments
You will be part of a team working with the rest of the household staff to ensure the smooth running of household, including managing inventories of the home.
This is a live-in role in a smaller house. So self-awareness is key, as you will be in close proximity to the family.
Expect 4 hours per day with the son and 2 hours for household/ support for the mother. 5, sometimes 6 days per week.
This role requires an organised person with a background in education or tutoring.
