We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. Shifts Needed:
6am - 2pm M-F
10pm - 6am 2-on 4-off

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews to inform individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and injections accurately, including IV infusions and medication management following HIPAA regulations and safety protocols.
- Perform specialized procedures such as suturing, catheterization (including urinary and vascular access), tube feeding, and sterile dressing changes using aseptic techniques.
- Manage complex clinical situations including acute pain management, trauma medicine, infectious disease care, and emergency triage in fast-paced environments such as emergency rooms or ICU settings.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks for meticulous documentation of patient care activities, medical records, and coding (ICD-10/ICD-9/CPT).
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, and coordination of post-acute or home care services.
- Support patients with chronic conditions such as geriatrics, memory care, behavioral health issues, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities.
Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of employment with current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Proven experience in diverse clinical environments such as hospital medicine, ICU/CCU/Trauma centers (Level I or II trauma experience preferred), outpatient clinics, or long-term care facilities.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques including laboratory experience and specimen collection/processing.
- Hands-on experience with advanced procedures like cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), ventilator management, ostomy care, dialysis support, and infection control practices.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate medical documentation and coding practices.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations requiring critical thinking during emergencies such as trauma or acute pain episodes.
- Excellent communication skills for patient education on health coaching topics including medication administration, nutrition, wound care (including ostomy), and post-discharge instructions. Pay: $40.00 - $46.00 per hour
