Responsibilities
- Assist servers by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and resetting tables promptly to ensure efficient service.
- Support food preparation and delivery by helping with plating, garnishing, and organizing orders for timely service.
- Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including wiping down tables, chairs, and condiment stations to uphold high standards of hygiene.
- Handle food handling responsibilities safely in accordance with food safety regulations and proper sanitation procedures.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process guest orders accurately when needed.
- Support banquet setups and breakdowns by arranging tables, chairs, and serving stations for events or large groups.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and guest needs in a fast-paced environment.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices.
- Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members.
- Ability to multitask efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques, bussing, and basic kitchen operations enhances performance.
- Prior banquet or hotel experience is advantageous for supporting large events or hospitality functions.
