Duties

- Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure a safe environment for all patrons.
- Restock bar supplies efficiently during shifts, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and glassware.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to ensure seamless service delivery.
Skills
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings; retail math and hospitality experience are highly valued.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; strong cash handling skills required.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy shifts.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in food industry environments.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash transactions and drink recipes; familiarity with retail math is a plus.
- Experience with serving at large events like banquets or catering functions is advantageous.
- Familiarity with food industry terminology, brewing processes, and hospitality best practices enhances your effectiveness behind the bar.
