Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of banking professionals to achieve sales goals, including mortgage lending, financial services, and retail banking products.
- Manage daily branch operations, including cash handling, deposit processing, and compliance with all banking regulations such as Bank Secrecy Act and Fair Housing laws.
- Cultivate strong member relationships through personalized service, effective relationship management, and proactive client communication.
- Ensure adherence to loan processing procedures, underwriting standards, and compliance.
- Oversee fraud prevention and detection measures to safeguard assets and maintain trust within the community.
- Conduct coaching sessions and performance evaluations to foster team development, leadership skills, and operational excellence.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of banking services including deposits, withdrawals, debits & credits, cash management, and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Proven experience in sales management, upselling strategies, and customer relationship management within retail or financial services environments.
- Strong understanding of mortgage lending processes, loan origination, underwriting, mortgage servicing, and compliance with loan regulations.
- Ability to lead a team effectively through coaching, management techniques, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Excellent client communication skills paired with marketing expertise to promote products and expand the client base.
- Knowledge of banking regulatory compliance.
