Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Operate POS systems such as Clover POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cashiering duties with integrity and accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and dining spaces
- Assist customers by providing knowledgeable recommendations, answering questions, and ensuring excellent customer service
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards
- Support food handling procedures, including food safety practices and proper food preparation techniques
Experience
- Previous barista experience or background in food service is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction processing
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Team work and leadership roles
- Experience in coffee industry or café environments is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
