Satisfy the demands of the customer, Hyundai-Kia, by providing the highest level of customer service
Build and Maintain relationships between Hyundai and KIRCHHOFF Automotive while maximizing on opportunities to receive future business.
Win targeted sales, develop strategic plans for specific customer accounts and assist the VP Sales in the development of long-term plans, including sales and budget forecasts.
Provide sales forecast updates as required.
Act as a liaison between customer and KIRCHHOFF Automotive in all areas of Production, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality Assurance and Accounting.
Meet with customers on a regular basis to follow-up on current issues/concerns, engineering changes, quality issues, and potential future business
Coordinate customer visits for KIRCHHOFF Automotive personnel as requested.
Accurately and efficiently complete call reports, activity schedules and any other company required documents (i.e. expense reports).
Monitor due dates for customer deliveries and consults with various departments to ensure deadlines are met.
Coordinate and complete all required paperwork for new product/program launches.
Responsible for meeting customer cost reduction targets.
Review quote sheets and cost estimates to maximize profitability and competitiveness and negotiate with customers as necessary.
Follow-up on outstanding customer receivables as per Finance Departments’ request.
Solicitation of new business and entertainment of new and current customers in compliance with the customer’s entertainment policies.
Any other reasonable request made by management.
Contributes to a safe, clean and comfortable work environment that complements the Occupational Health and Safety Act by ensuring the principles of the 5S discipline (simplify, separate, sanitize, standardize and support) are supported and adhered to.
Provide departments with relevant customer information that will contribute to meeting customer expectations and achieving company goals and objectives
Suggest alternative design changes that contribute to better manufacturing processes and cost reduction
Determine best possible options to present to customer when faced with engineering changes late in the program
Your Profile
Minimum 7 – 10 years job related experience in automotive/manufacturing industry.
University Degree or College Diploma in Business Administration or related field preferred
Experience supporting customer, Hyundai-Kia
Must speak Korean language
Basic technical expertise in stampings environment
Working knowledge of Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
General knowledge of IATF 16949/ISO14001requirements
Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, English and Korean
Effective sales and negotiating techniques
Creative and innovative approach
Ability to problem solve when faced with various customer concerns
Ability to work in the United States
Ability to travel domestically and internationally 20-40% of the time
