Job Summary
Ratti Air and Heat is looking for a dependable, motivated, and customer-focused HVAC Service & Sales Technician to join our team.
This is a combined service and sales position. You will work directly with homeowners to diagnose HVAC problems, perform maintenance and repairs, and recommend solutions based on the customer's needs. This may include presenting repair options, identifying systems that are nearing the end of their useful life, and helping customers understand replacement options when appropriate.
HVAC experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right person. We are looking for someone who is mechanically minded, comfortable working with customers, eager to learn, and motivated to grow within the HVAC industry.
This position also participates in an on-call schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
- HVAC experience is not required — we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong interest in learning the HVAC industry.
- Comfortable talking with homeowners and explaining problems and solutions.
- Confident, personable, and professional.
- Motivated by both personal growth and helping customers.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Valid driver's license and reliable driving record.
- Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, outdoors, and other physically demanding environments.
- Able to lift equipment and materials and safely use ladders and hand tools.
- Willing and able to participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
- EPA 608 certification is a plus, but not required for candidates who are willing to obtain it.

The right person doesn't need to know everything about HVAC on day one. We can teach the technical side to someone who is willing to learn.
