Job Title: LPN / Medical Assistant – Multisite

Reports To: Clinic Manager / Operations Lead
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Medical Assistant (MA) to join our clinical team across two sites: Omaha Insomnia & Psych Services in Omaha, NE. This role provides direct patient care, supports clinic operations, and ensures continuity of care across both locations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates excellent organizational skills, and is comfortable traveling between sites as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care
- Obtain and document vital signs, weight, and basic health assessments.
- Monitor patients for changes in mental status, mood, behavior, and physical condition.
- Observe and report side effects or adverse reactions to psychiatric medications.
- Assist with medication administration (e.g., SPRAVATO) as permitted by state scope of practice.
- Support medication reconciliation and adherence monitoring.
Patient Support
- Provide therapeutic support and patient education within scope of practice.
- Assist patients with care plans, follow-up instructions, and treatment compliance.
- Respond appropriately to patients experiencing anxiety, agitation, or distress.
- Support crisis protocols and safety procedures when indicated.
Administrative Support
- Assist with scheduling, phone triage, and patient follow-up.
- Prepare exam rooms and ensure clinical supplies are stocked.
- Participate in team meetings.
Multisite Clinic Support
- Coordinate care and maintain continuity between Omaha and Council Bluffs locations.
- Communicate schedule changes and coverage needs effectively with leadership.
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification in Nebraska.
- 1–3 years of clinical experience in a medical office, behavioral health, or psychiatric setting preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment and travel between clinic locations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, and team members.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and basic computer skills.
- Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
Additional Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation for travel between Omaha.
- Flexibility to adjust schedule as needed for patient care and clinic coverage.
- Ability to lift and assist patients, as well as perform clinical duties for extended periods.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
