Senior Accessibility Lead Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams to coordinate accessibility reviews and ensure timely routing of work.
- Collaborate with product teams to incorporate accessibility standards during feature development.
- Assess digital experiences against established accessibility conformance criteria, including WCAG guidelines.
- Provide clear feedback on accessibility issues to facilitate effective remediation efforts.
- Support audit activities, monitor defect trends, and promote best practices across teams.
Senior Accessibility Lead Qualifications:
- Proven ability to evaluate digital products from an end-user perspective, advocating for accessible solutions.
- Hands-on testing experience with assistive technologies such as JAWS, NVDA, Voice-over, and Talkback.
- Deep understanding of accessibility standards including WCAG 2.0, 2.1, 2.2, and WAI-ARIA principles.
- Strong communication skills to facilitate stakeholder engagement and team coaching.
- Familiarity with web and mobile application design, development practices, and collaboration tools like JIRA and Confluence.
