This is a mainly regional job with dedicated routes. Physical labor is required which makes the compensation much better than typical over the road driver pay. This includes loading a trailer via a liftgate and sometimes strapping flatbed loads.
The job will require you to work one week regional (NC, VA, SC) and one week local in the Raleigh NC area. More details will be provided during the interview process.

Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of commercial trucks, including lift gate trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and roll-off trucks.
- Safely load and unload freight using manual methods when necessary.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Follow designated routes driving across local, regional, or long-haul schedules to deliver freight efficiently.
- Manage documentation such as delivery logs, load manifests, and inspection reports accurately.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and traffic laws to maintain a clean driving record.
Skills
- Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on commercial driving regulations and safety standards.
- Skilled in operating various trucks & trailers.
- Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using manual techniques.
- Strong route planning skills for optimal delivery schedules across diverse terrains.
- Excellent driving record with experience in route driving and delivery operations.
- Knowledge of load securement techniques for different freight types such as freight on flatbeds.

Pay: $1,200.00 - $2,400.00 per week
