Overview
We are seeking a Private Chef/Skilled Home Chef with at least 5+ years in the food industry to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, menu planning, and ensuring high-quality culinary experiences for our clients. The job will be on Mondays and/or Tuesdays with the intention to transition to full time down the road. Please do not apply if you do not LOVE food and derive joy from cooking for others. You will need to be well versed in healthy mediterranean style cooking and possess great skill in preparing vegetables.
Duties
- Create personalized menus based on clients' preferences
- Create and execute weekly meal prep for clients in their homes
- Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Utilize culinary techniques for meal preparation
- Handle kitchen equipment, including knives, safely and responsibly
Skills
- Experience as a chef in a restaurant or catering environment or skilled home chef with several years of experience
-Experience cooking nourishing, whole foods forward mediterranean style cuisine
-Warm, polished presence in client facing environments
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
- Familiarity with menu planning and food presentation
- Proficiency in food safety practices
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient kitchen operations
