Position Overview
Teachers at World Academy work as part of a teaching team to:
- Create and maintain a positive, engaging classroom environment
- Collaborate on the development and implementation of curriculum
- Support children’s growth through observation and assessment
- Build strong communication with families and fellow educators
Our philosophy centers on educating the whole child through meaningful, play-based experiences. We value educators who bring enthusiasm, professionalism, and a strong understanding of child development to their work.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00AM – 6:00 PM
- Compensation: Starting at $19.00/hr, with increases based on education & experience
- Sign-on Bonus: $300
Qualifications:
- Lead Teacher Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field (18 ECE credits, including 3 in Child Growth & Development)
- Associate Teacher Required: Minimum of 9 ECE credits (including 3 in Child Growth & Development) OR 1,000 hours in a licensed child care program + 3 credits in Child Growth & Development
- Knowledge of NH Early Learning Standards and developmentally appropriate practices is a plus!
