Line Cook / Prep Cook (AM & PM Shifts)
The Brick Market & Deli is looking for dependable, energetic Line Cooks and Prep Cooks to join our kitchen team. We're seeking individuals with flat-top grill experience who thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in preparing high-quality food.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Operate flat-top grill and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Complete food prep for daily service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures
- Work efficiently as part of a team during busy service periods
- Assist with opening, closing, and general kitchen duties as needed
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant kitchen preferred
- Flat-top grill experience required
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to showing up ready to work
- Positive attitude with strong communication and teamwork skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Flexible schedule, including weekends; availability to help cover shifts is a plus
- Culinary school experience is a bonus but not required
- Current California Food Handler Card required
