Position Title: ELEMENTARY TEACHER – WARREN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Reports To: Building Principal
Primary Function: To teach and manage all aspects of an elementary level classroom
Funded By: District Budget
Qualifications:
· MA Certification in Elementary Education
· Bachelor’s Degree in Education
· Knowledge of the Curriculum Frameworks
· Organized & Flexible
· Effective instructional techniques and classroom management skills
Responsibilities:
- Able to plan and teach a standards-based classroom.
- Able to work with a variety of learning styles in the classroom.
- Able to differentiate instruction for students of all abilities.
- Able to assess and report the academic and social performance of students.
- Able to communicate effectively with parents.
- Able to collaborate with colleagues and administrators.
- Good organization and time management skills.
- Ability to portray a positive role model to students
Salary: As per contract between the Quaboag Regional School Committee
& the Quaboag Education Association
