Join Indiana's Growing Radon Mitigation Company
Great Lakes Radon is expanding in Indianapolis and is looking for a motivated, dependable technician to join our team. Experience in HVAC, PLUMBING or other skilled trades is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual.
What You'll Do Radon Mitigation Installations
- Install complete radon mitigation systems in residential homes.
- Core drill concrete floors and walls.
- Install PVC piping and fittings.
- Install, wire, and test radon fans.
- Seal sump lids and foundation penetrations.
- Install system monitoring devices.
- Ensure every installation meets company quality standards.
- Clean the work area before leaving each job.
Fan Replacements & Service Calls
- Replace failed radon fans.
- Diagnose existing radon systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair system issues.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners.
- Document completed work.
Crawlspace Encapsulations
- Install crawlspace vapor barriers.
- Secure and seal encapsulation systems.
- Install vent piping beneath barriers when required.
Sump Pump Replacements
- Remove and replace sump pumps.
- Test pump operation.
- Ensure discharge piping functions properly.
Material Pickups & Warehouse Responsibilities
- Pick up materials from suppliers as needed.
- Keep the company vehicle stocked and organized.
- Assist with inventory and warehouse organization.
Driving Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company vehicle.
- Travel to customer homes throughout the Indianapolis area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Customer Service Expectations
- Arrive on time.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners.
- Explain the work being completed.
- Treat every customer's home with respect.
- Leave every job site clean and organized.
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 75 pounds.
- Work in crawlspaces, attics, and basements.
- Climb ladders.
- Operate power tools.
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
What We're Looking For
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Ability to work independently after training.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Experience in skilled trades is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $47,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
