We are independent retail / closed door long term care pharmacy in Garden Grove, CA providing services to both walk-in patients as well as skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and hospices.
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated pharmacist to join our team. As a staff pharmacist, you will be playing a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of our pharmacy.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in pharmacy practices/law, possess excellent communication skills, and be committed to delivering high-quality services.
Duties
- Review and interpret physicians' orders
- Provide patient education on medication use and potential side effects
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and medication management
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
- Monitor patient medication therapies for allergies, contraindications, and interactions
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction
Requirements
- PharmD or equivalent degree
- Licensed Pharamcist in California
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent patient service skills
- Experience in long term care pharmacy setting preferred
Pay: From $65.00 per hour
