SLP Job Summary:

The job will entail providing speech therapy and rehabilitation services to students in Rising Star Sped Academy. Job Responsibilities:
- Help provide direct therapy.
- Assist with Conducting IEPs, evaluations, testing, and progress reports.
- Support students with mild to moderate diagnoses.
- Help conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the speech, language, and cognitive communication of individuals with communication disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, incorporating evidence-based interventions and goals tailored to each student's specific needs and abilities.
- Provide therapy sessions using various techniques and modalities to improve speech articulation, language comprehension and expression, voice quality, fluency, and social communication.
- Document concisely, accurately, and legibly all appropriate charting and paperwork.
- Follow ASHA guidelines for ethical and high-quality job performance.
Job Requirements:
- Active state license as a speech-language pathologist or have applied.
- 6 months of SLP experience within the last 5 years
