Responsibilities

- Lead daily classroom activities that promote social skills, emotional regulation, and cognitive development among preschool children.
- Manage classroom behavior through positive behavior management strategies to ensure a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and support ongoing development through regular updates and parent-teacher conferences.
- Incorporate early intervention strategies and special education techniques to support children with diverse learning needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of child development progress, attendance records, and compliance with mandated reporting laws.
- Foster a nurturing atmosphere that emphasizes child welfare, safety protocols, and adherence to childcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings, demonstrating strong classroom management skills.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention practices, and special education accommodations.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education or Montessori methods is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
- Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields; additional qualifications in literacy education or toddler care are advantageous.
