Press Straightening Operator
Performs the operation of straightening pipe heads and ends, in a safe and efficient manner according to applicable procedures, complying with defined quality standards.
Executes change over and set up of the machine.
Places pipe heads or ends in the machine.
Controls pipe straightness with a comparer.
Detects parts to be straighten.
Operates the press straightener.
Performs pipe heads and ends straightening and sizing.
Carries out pipe visual and dimensional control.
Ensures instruments are in good condition checking their expiration date and correct functioning.
Assists machine lock outs and tag outs and does operative maintenance.
Updates information in the tracking systems.
Minimum Qualification for the Job
Ability to work rotating shift to include nights and weekends
Previous Heat Treatment experience preferred
Product Inspection when applicable
Certification when applicable.
