About Us: St. Agnes Academy-St. Dominic School is seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to lead our after-school program team. Our Extended Day Activities program provides care for children from PreK-2 through 8th grade in a nurturing and engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily operations of the after-school programming in the Dining Hall (Grades K-5th).
- Engage with students through indoor and outdoor activities.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
- Assist in facilitating snack times.
- Assist students with their homework.
- Implement fun and educational activities.
- Mentor and support students in developing strong interpersonal skills.
- Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in education or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working in after-school programs, summer camp, and/or child-based care is preferred.
- Retired teachers and experienced professionals are strongly encouraged to apply—we value diverse backgrounds, real-world expertise, and a passion for supporting students.
- Ability to work afternoons from 2:00-6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
