Responsibilities
- Operate the cash register (POS system) accurately during retail sales transactions, including cash handling and drawer management
- Greet customers warmly, offering product demos and upselling opportunities to enhance their shopping experience
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, assisting with product selection, and maintaining a positive store atmosphere
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and support merchandising efforts to ensure an attractive and well-organized store layout
- Maintain phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Assist in inventory management through stocking and inventory checks to ensure product availability
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, but will train the right candidate
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in guiding team members or managing daily store operations
- Familiarity with retail math, basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
- Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities is a plus but not required, to connect effectively with diverse customers
- Experience with cashiering, cash register operations, and cash drawer handling required for smooth transaction processing
- Ability to perform retail sales tasks efficiently while providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $11.00 - $18.00 per hour
