Meridian & Co. | Chattanooga, TN
Full-Time | Hybrid
$26.00–$30.00 per hour
Help Build Something That Doesn't Exist Yet.
Most jobs ask you to fit into an existing system.
This one asks you to help build it.
Meridian & Co. is creating a new kind of concierge care company that helps older adults and their families confidently navigate aging, healthcare, life transitions, and long-term planning. We believe families deserve a trusted guide—not another phone number to call.
We're looking for our very first Founding Navigator.
This is more than a client-facing position. You'll work directly alongside the founders to help shape the systems, processes, client experience, and culture that will define Meridian for years to come.
If you enjoy building, improving, organizing, and making life easier for others, we'd love to meet you.
About Meridian & Co.
Meridian exists to help families feel informed, supported, and confident while navigating one of life's most complex seasons.
We combine compassion with organization, proactive communication, thoughtful planning, and practical problem solving.
Our Navigators are not healthcare providers or case managers.
They are trusted advisors who help families stay organized, anticipate challenges, coordinate resources, and confidently make decisions.
What You'll Do
Every day will be different, but responsibilities will include:
- Build trusted relationships with older adults and their families
- Conduct virtual and occasional in-person client meetings
- Develop personalized action plans and follow up on progress
- Coordinate community resources, appointments, and services
- Communicate with family members and professional partners
- Keep detailed client documentation and records
- Help identify opportunities to improve the client experience
- Assist in developing our proprietary assessment process and operating procedures
- Collaborate with the founders to refine workflows, technology, and service offerings
- Contribute ideas that improve how Meridian serves clients as we grow
What Makes This Role Different
As our first Navigator, you'll have a unique opportunity to influence the future of Meridian.
You'll help build:
- Client onboarding experiences
- Service standards
- Internal operating procedures
- Technology workflows
- Documentation templates
- Training materials for future Navigators
Your work won't simply support the company—it will help define it.
Who We're Looking For
We're less concerned about finding someone with the perfect resume than someone with the right mindset.
You might be a great fit if you:
- Love creating order from complexity
- Naturally anticipate problems before they happen
- Communicate with warmth, professionalism, and confidence
- Are highly organized and dependable
- Take ownership without needing constant direction
- Enjoy improving systems and processes
- Build trust quickly with people from all backgrounds
- Are comfortable learning new technology
- Want to help build something meaningful from the ground up
Preferred Experience
Experience in one or more of the following is helpful:
- Hospitality or Concierge Services
- Project Management
- Client Relationship Management
- Executive Assistant or Administrative Leadership
- Healthcare Administration
- Home Care or Senior Living
- Operations
- Nonprofit or community services
Equivalent experience in other relationship-focused or organizational roles will also be considered.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid position based in the Chattanooga area.
While many client interactions will occur virtually, regular in-person collaboration with the founders is an important part of this role. Applicants should live in or be willing to relocate to the Chattanooga area.
Occasional local travel to client homes, community partners, or networking events may be required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Full-time hourly position
- $26.00–$30.00 per hour based on experience
- Paid time off
- Professional development opportunities
- Opportunity for performance-based bonuses as the company grows
- Opportunity to grow into leadership as Meridian expands
A Final Thought
This role isn't for everyone.
If you're looking for a large organization with decades of established processes, this probably isn't the right fit.
If you're energized by building something meaningful, improving systems, solving problems, caring deeply for people, and helping shape a company from its earliest days, we'd love to hear your story.
We believe the best years of Meridian are still ahead—and we're looking for someone excited to help build them.
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
Application Question(s):
- What excites you most about helping build a new company rather than joining an established one?
- Describe a time you improved a process or system that made life easier for other people.
