Duties

- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process retail sales transactions swiftly and efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain clean and organized checkout areas.
- Assist with setting up attractive displays to maximize sales opportunities.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions professionally via phone or in person while practicing proper phone etiquette.
Skills
- Proven experience with POS systems and cashiering duties in a retail or grocery environment.
- Strong communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately for retail math calculations and cash handling.
- Professional phone etiquette for engaging with customers over the phone confidently.
