Role:
The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that all assigned scope of work is executed as per training, policy, procedure and aligned to the expectation of the customer.
Responsibilities:
- Driving a culture of Safety and Quality throughout the team, including customers 12 Disciplines
- Collaboratively work with site management and Supervision to lead the site rollout of “Safety Begins with Me” “Beyond Zero” and “Stop Work Authority” initiatives to continuously improve the Culture of Safety and Quality.
- Ensuring SOP’s (and other EHS&Q documentation) are accurate, correctly formatted, aligned with quality manual and with corporate policy. All changes to be communicated / approved by customer.
- Ensuring all quality related documentation is effectively released and disseminated throughout team
- Ensuring that quality related documentation is periodically reviewed for accuracy and continually
- Ensuring compliance with applicable Process Safety Management (PSM) Standard (OSHA 1910.119)
- Reviewing employee compliance with SOP’s and training
- Participating in regular site walk abouts to ensure areas under our control meet expectations, and to observe employee adherence to safety and quality protocol
- Engaging with other EHS&Q personnel globally to share knowledge and lessons learned
- Engaging with Global EHS&Q Management to ensure standards are being met and new policies / practices implemented at site
- Engaging with customer EHS&Q for knowledge transfer
- Delivering on-boarding and basic Safety Passport training to all new employees
- Ensuring compliance with Vendor Safety Orientation (VSO) for all on-site team members
- Ensuring compliance with OSHA 10 / 30 training requirements (as per training plan)
- Inspections / auditing of vehicles and equipment used by the on-site team
- Coordination and execution of internal audits, and participation in external / customer audits.
- Alignment with Micron Occupational Health department to ensure effective knowledge transfer
- SCBA / Respirator Program Owner – equipment inspections, fit testing, maintenance etc
- PPE – Specification of PPE, ensuring adequate inventories are maintained, ongoing inspections etc
- First aid – Ensuring that First Aid boxes / usage sheets are maintained in line with relevant policy(s)
- Ensuring that all signage is correct and legible (for equipment and rooms under our control)
- Assisting with Incident Investigations and resulting actions
- Coordination with customer ER Team and ensuring that team are well informed and drilled to support, when needed
- Owner of all EHS policies (e.g. Permit to Work, LOTO, working at heights, confined space entry etc)
- Overseeing Environmental program, ensuring reports are generated and shared in timely manner
- Owner of workplace Ergonomics program (training, auditing etc)
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- A recognized qualification and / or suitable experience in a similar role and industry
- Preferably a minimum of 5 years’ experience in an EH&S or Quality focused role, although a suitably newly qualified individual with the right aptitude would be considered and developed accordingly.
- Be able to demonstrate strong communication, organizational and IT skills.
- Be able to meet and pass the initial and annual acceptance criteria laid out by customer TD
- 30-hour OSHA certification (OSHA 500 preferred)
- Extensive working knowledge of OSHA rules and requirements is required.

- Effective communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead, train, and support a team in a dynamic environment
Preferred:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP system experience preferred
