Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality in every pour
- Engage with guests warmly, providing personalized service that enhances their overall experience
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing orders, payments, and cash handling accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols
- Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to keep our menu fresh and exciting
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies promptly, and assist with ordering to ensure the bar is well-stocked at all times
- Handle cash transactions efficiently while adhering to cash handling procedures and basic math principles
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of cocktail mixing techniques, mixology principles, wine varieties, brewing processes, and spirits experience
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially within fine dining or banquet settings
- Strong time management skills to handle busy service periods seamlessly
- Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest loyalty
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing
- Ability to develop beverage recipes creatively while maintaining consistency in presentation and taste
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math calculations, and food industry operations
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and beverage regulations
- Experience with catering or banquet service is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality industry experience is essential
