Optech Orthotics & Prosthetics is seeking an experienced and motivated Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist (CPO) to join our growing team across three Illinois locations.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinician who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care, developing strong referral relationships, and contributing to the continued growth of our organization.
We are looking for a candidate with strong clinical expertise who can work independently, collaborate effectively with colleagues, and build trusted relationships with physicians, therapists, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and other referral partners. Main Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive prosthetic and orthotic patient care.

Evaluate patients and design, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices based on individual clinical needs.

Maintain accurate and timely coding and clinical documentation utilizing OPIE software.

Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with physicians, therapists, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and other referral sources.

Support practice growth by educating referral partners about available services and identifying opportunities to expand professional relationships.

Maintain and strengthen existing referral relationships through consistent communication, responsiveness, and service excellence.

Collaborate effectively with clinical and administrative colleagues across all locations.

Serve as a knowledgeable clinical resource to colleagues when appropriate.

Stay current on clinical techniques, technology, industry standards, documentation requirements, and developments within the O&P profession.

Participate in organizational projects and initiatives related to patient care, clinical quality, operational improvement, and practice growth.

Perform other duties as assigned that support patient care, team effectiveness, and organizational success.
Position Requirements

ABC Certification in Prosthetics and Orthotics required.

Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience preferred.

Strong clinical knowledge and demonstrated commitment to quality patient care.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Demonstrated ability to develop referral networks and maintain professional partnerships.

Ability to manage an independent clinical workload and priorities effectively.

Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Strong documentation, organization, and follow-through skills.

Illinois licensure or eligibility for Illinois licensure required.
Salary Range: $80,000–$110,000
Compensation within the posted range will be determined based on the candidate’s skills, experience, knowledge, geographic location, and other relevant factors.
