Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic, customer-focused Market Event Sales Associate to represent our brand at a week-long market event. In this role, you will sell retail products, prepare and serve fresh spun cotton candy, and create a fun and memorable experience for customers.
This is a temporary contract position for the duration of the event, November 1 through November 7.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Sell retail products and assist customers with purchases.
- Prepare and serve fresh spun cotton candy while maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards.
- Operate the point-of-sale system and handle transactions accurately.
- Maintain an organized, attractive sales area and product displays.
- Provide excellent customer service and create a fun customer experience.
- Represent the brand professionally at the market event.
Qualifications
- Previous retail, sales, food service, or customer service experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a busy market environment.
- Willingness to learn cotton candy preparation (training provided).
- Reliable transportation to the event location.
Schedule
- Contract Dates: November 1–7
- Availability required during the scheduled market hours.
- Weekend availability may be required.
Compensation
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
