Oklahoma City Indian Clinic (OKCIC) is a non-profit corporation that provides culturally sensitive health care to the American Indian population. OKCIC services include not only basic medical care but also dental, optometry, behavioral health, fitness, nutrition, and other family programs.

Oklahoma City Indian Clinic is hiring a pharmacy technician. The pharmacy technician will be under the supervision of a pharmacist.
Applicants claiming Indian Preference must complete the full application and must provide documentation verifying eligibility (such as a tribal enrollment card or Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood (CDIB)).
Duties include, but are not limited to:

Routine pharmacy functions such as receiving prescriptions from patients or providers

Prepare and dispense medications

Maintain patient profiles

Provide excellent service to patients at the pick-up window

Answer patient and provider phone calls

Assist with inventory management

Operate and maintain automated pharmacy equipment

Participate in department quality improvement activities

Conduct monthly medication storage area inspections

Provide technical support services as deemed necessary by the Pharmacy supervisor to maintain consistency in overall Pharmacy services.

Current Oklahoma Pharmacy Technician license.

Certified Pharmacy Technician License (CPhT) preferred.

Experience with EHR/RPMS and GSL.

Experience with OptiFill Automated Dispensing System.
