Job Overview
We are a MAT program seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, focusing on both preventive and acute health issues. This role requires a compassionate individual who can work effectively with patients of all ages, including children, and is proficient in various medical practices and technologies. This is a part time position which may become full time, we have very flexible hours and are looking for 1 or 2 days that may start as early as 5am to service early morning patients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations for patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Prescribe medications and manage patient care in accordance with established protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate medical records, including ICD-9 coding for diagnoses.
- Provide education to patients regarding health maintenance, family planning, and disease prevention.
- Perform procedures as necessary while adhering to aseptic techniques.
- Understand the 42 CFR rules for MAT programs
Experience
- A valid Nurse Practitioner license is required.
- Experience working with addiction medicine is preferred.
