American Traveler is seeking a Chemo Certified RN for an outpatient oncology clinic position requiring prior outpatient clinic and phone triage experience at a large academic Level I Trauma Center.

Outpatient multispecialty clinic setting within a large academic medical center (1,500+ beds, Level I Trauma Center)
-
Patient population includes Breast Oncology, Breast Surgery, and Plastic Surgery patients
-
Duties include telephone triage, in-basket management, assisting providers during clinic visits, and new and return patient visits
-
Pre-op/post-op teaching and chemotherapy patient education are core responsibilities

Charting performed in Epic

Day shift schedule: 4x9-hour shifts, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
-
Parking available on-site at candidate's expense (~$125/month)

Active CT or Compact RN license required
-
Current BLS certification required
-
Chemotherapy certification (ONS or equivalent) required
-
Outpatient clinic experience required
-
Phone triage experience required
-
Trauma center experience at a large facility required

Epic EMR experience preferred

Clean nursing license with no prior disciplinary actions required for consideration

Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

13-week contract

Flu vaccination is required; declinations are not accepted

Former permanent staff of this health system must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler

Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved for the assignment
