Responsibilities
- Monitor premises continuously using CCTV systems and other surveillance tools to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Conduct thorough patrols of the property, including entrances, exits, parking areas, and sensitive zones to deter theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access.
- Respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies by implementing conflict management techniques and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
- Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Administer first aid or CPR in emergency situations until professional medical help arrives.
- Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and surveillance records accurately reflecting all activities and incidents during your shift.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential vulnerabilities and implementing proactive measures to protect assets.
Experience
- Prior experience in law enforcement or military service required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV operation and monitoring techniques.
- Training or certification in first aid and CPR is advantageous.
- Proven ability to manage conflicts calmly and effectively while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Familiarity with security protocols related to loss prevention, access control, and emergency response procedures.
