Blessing Hands Solutions LLC, an APD Provider, is seeking compassionate, dependable, and patient individuals to join our team as Companion Caregivers. This part-time position is ideal for individuals who enjoy helping others and making a positive impact in the lives of adults with developmental disabilities.
As a Companion Caregiver, you will provide social support, community engagement, and assistance that promotes independence while ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of the individuals we serve.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Accompany clients on community outings and recreational activities
- Encourage independence and social interaction
- Assist with light meal preparation and daily routines (as needed)
- Transport clients to appointments and community activities when required
- Document services accurately and report any concerns
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus, but not required
- Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Requirements
- Valid Florida Driver's License
- Reliable vehicle with current insurance
- CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Screening
- Reliable transportation
- Must be authorized to work in the United States

- Ability to work independently
