The Holiday Inn Grand Rapids Downtown is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendants to join our housekeeping team. You’ll be responsible for washing, drying, folding, and organizing hotel linens and guest laundry, helping us maintain the high standards our guests expect.
Weekend availability is required for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, towels
- Inspect linens for stains or damage and treat or report as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
- Follow hotel laundry procedures and safety guidelines
- Deliver clean linens to storage areas or housekeeping carts
- Assist with inventory or supply tracking as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in laundry operations, preferably in a hotel setting
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to [30–50 lbs] and stand for extended periods
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards
- Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
